The Chosen's Main Idea

In this novel, I think that the lesson learned is that differences in two people, shouldn’t

stop a relationship between them. The author, Chaim Potok applied to very similar, but still

different characters; these were Danny and Reuven. Potok portrayed that they may have their

differences, but can are very much the equal in many ways. For instance, Danny may be a

different type of Jew than Reuven. Though, Hasidic or Orthodox, they both study and practice

the Jewish religion. Another example, could be their intelligence. Danny is very bright and

Reuven is very smart too, but ma...
