Over-production and trade problems–
The American companies were producing too many goods and weren’t able to sell them locally or abroad because people locally already had goods and were satisfied with what they had. They couldn’t sell them abroad because other countries had put taxes on American goods since the Americans were putting taxes on their goods and so it got to a point where the taxes became to expensive and so they had to raise the prices of their goods and when they did that the people would stop buy...
