The case against growing old

The truth is everyone grows older, as each minute passes we grow one minute older and one minute closer to old age and ultimately death. We can’t escape that, it’s the nature of life but that doesn’t mean that’s the way life should be. I’m quite sure no one would mind finding that mystical fountain of youth and frankly who could blame them. The only things old age seems to bring is many health problems, less mobility, boredom, loneliness and lets face it death, not only for yourself but for those around you, your friends, family and partners.

In the year 2000 Alice Crosser was kicked out of home by her own granddaughter and rejected by her son. She was 88, partially blind, a bit deaf and was probably suffering the early stages of dementia, reported The Age- Alice in blunderland 25/11/00.
