THE CANTERBURY TALES

Since we are not reading The Canterbury tales in its entirety, the evidence and thorough examination of its themes cannot be expected. In the amount of reading that we do in the short time that we have, some apparent themes are: love; life¡¦s quests; marriage and the relationship between men and women; greed, and what constitutes a moral or religious life.
