Limoges to take up
seniors' tax cause

Canada to tax 85 percent of seniors' Social Security income.
Canadians receiving Social Security cheques are still taxed less than the average retiree living on Canadian benefits alone, and changes in the cross-border tax scheme also resulted in fairer taxes on low-income seniors.
At the meeting, Limoges said that it was unlikely the tax legislation could be changed, but he expressed hope his government could "grandfather" the new tax, making it apply to future retirees rath...
