The Betraying Mate

Michael and I had it all. Money, good jobs and of course we were best friends ever since primary school. I had on many occasions brought up our great friendship. Referring to those good old days as I liked to call them.

“Hi, that’s a cool shirt you got there.” I said. “Yeh, you really think so?” replied Michael, as this was the first meeting between the two friends back on the first day of primary school.

As things changed, and many others moved on, Michael and I somehow both managed to remain the best of mates all through this. After high school, it was time for university, then jobs, but even with all these distractions they managed to stay good friends and remain loyal.
