The art of baseball cart collecting

The art of baseball card collecting began in the early 1890's when a cigarette company printed pictures of baseball players on the back of their boxes. As demand for these boxes grew and complaints were recieved about how hard it was to cut the card of the box cards were eventually precut(much smaller than todays cards) and inserted inside the pack.
