¡§The age of clutter: Conducting effective research using the Internet¡¨ appears to be based solely on the perceptions of the author¡¦s. I say this because although many references are sighted in the article, there is no real supporting data provided. Additionally, the paper expresses only one perception. The author¡¦s neither discuss nor present opposing viewpoints and none of the references cited express a viewpoint that is counter to the author¡¦s. The author¡¦s perception that information gathered from the Internet is difficult to manage may have been true three years ago, but with today¡¦s technology it is much easier to deal with.
Assumption
The author¡¦s make the assumption that Internet research is more difficult than ¡§traditional research methods¡¨, but never provide specific examples of why this is true.
