Some need the money, so they quit school to get a job. Others end up pregnant, and choose to stay home to take care of their new families. Some are forced to take over family operations due to a death in the family. Others just get fed up with the everyday hassles of school. Dayton High School has only a one percent dropout rate. This is good considering that the state average is one percent. Dayton’s overall attendance rate is over ninety-five percent. This is just a little under the state’s average of ninety-five and a half percent. Liberty High School has a lower attendance rate, but a dropout rate of zero percent.
