The story
A psychopath kills an old man living in his house.
Reason
He was not insulted by him.
He didn¡¦t want to get his property.
¡§Object there was none. Passion there was none. I loved the old man.¡§
He had an eye that looked like one of a vulture.
The man feels horror when he looks at this old man¡¥s eye and therefore kills him to get rid of that look.
The killing itself
Looks upon him every midnight for a week
is very careful not to disturb the old man¡¥s sleep
is very calm
the old man doesn¡¥t notice him
