Symbols of Baptism.

The main features in this form of baptism is the white garment, water, oil,
baptismal candle, and the words and gestures.

The white garment symbolises Christ as he also was clothed in white, it
therefore also symbolises new life and faith because the baby is creating a
new life of faith with Jesus. Usually the garment is given to the baby by its
mother.
