King In this essay I will talk about the different approach that David Suzuki and Frederick King uses to describe and argue their point of view on animal testing. Both of these scientists have very different opinions on animal testing yet they still have some similarities when it comes to the techniques they use to support their arguments. In my opinion, Suzuki uses a more personal approach to reach out to the public on a more personal level therefore is making it easier for the reader to agree with his point of view. Franck uses facts and scientists’ opinions to make his argument seem more valid than Suzuki’s and to get his point across to the reader. In the following, I will describe their opinion on animal research with the different techniques they use to support their arguments such as making the opposition “look bad” and the approach they use to persuade the reader to agree with their point of view.
