Superstitions in the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain

Have you ever believed in something that others didn't? Maybe for certain reasons you didn't do things because you thought they were something more than what they seemed. This was a superstition that you believed in. For example, maybe you felt you couldn't break a mirror because it would give you seven years of bad luck. The superstitions in Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain include things that bring bad luck, beliefs that bring you good luck and things that ward off witches, and since Huck believed that everything happened for a reason; the superstitions and the coincidences that followed them makes you believe.
There were many superstitions involving bad luck in this story. Most of these superstitions Huck believed in greatly "I reached for some as quick as I could, to throw over my left shoulder and deep off the bad luck" (19.)
