Every ethnic group has what it calls “ soul food”- comfort food that brings back many memories from the past. Today soul food is defined as African American cuisine. Today’s black family dinner consist of traditions that have been passed down from a long line of generations. Today dinnertime for black families is time to enjoy family, to love, and to establish a foundation for their children to follow the tradition.
