Summary of Lord of the Rings

The story is about an hobbit (Frodo) who receives a special ring from his uncle (Bilbo) after his adventures in Erebor. A friend of Frodo’s uncle, Gandalf, who is wizard, suspects that the ring is not just an ordinary ring and decides to tell Frodo of the ring’s special powers. He tells him the making of the ring’s power and of Sauron, the dark lord who created the master ring to rule all of the other rings, who was defeated centuries ago by the last alliance of elves and humans. One of the humans took the master ring from Sauron after he was defeated but the human was ambushed and had the ring taken from him. The ring eventually ends up with Bilbo who then passes it down to Frodo.
Gandalf advises Frodo to leave his home because the enemy is coming for him. Gandalf leaves Frodo on his own, but Frodo is accompanied by a fellow hobbit, named Sam, on his journey. Frodo and Sam decide to travel through the Old Forest, which have many rumors told about it. As they trave...
