A potential health crisis is on the move, which could possibly sweep our nation and threaten the lives of the American people who rely on pharmaceutical products. This issue of protecting pharmaceutical products for the benefit of society, has soared to a primary concern as of lately, mainly due to the enormous advancements in technology, new and improved ways of distributing pharmaceuticals, and the rising cost of them as well. In a financial aspect, pharmaceutical manufacturers are also losing billion of dollars because of excessive exposure (Adam Scheer). In addition, with the recent events of 9-11 and the war of Iraq, it is susceptible that there could be an attack on our drug supply from terrorists as well, which means that we need not to take this matter lightly.
