Suicide: A problem bigger than most think

Suicide is defined as “the killing of own life intentionally.” Suicide is a topic that seems to have become more of a severe issue throughout the past several years, especially teenage suicide. It has been said that suicide is the third largest cause of death between the ages of 15 and 24, and there are approximately 10,000 reported teen suicides every year. It is important to take the subject of suicide seriously.
There are several reasons why teenagers attempt to commit suicide. The
teenage years seem to be a period of confusion for just about everyone. It is during this time that you are developing new relationships, getting used to the changes in your body, and having to make what are sometimes difficult decisions about your future. Often times when you are looking for some answers, it can seem like no one has them. That can make a person feel quite alone. Teenagers experience strong feelings, confusion, self-doubt, pressure to succeed as well as other fears while growing up...
