Work Brief:

I would like to explore the sport of skateboarding. I would like to explore the religion that is skateboarding and how the public perceives skateboarders. I will look at the techniques of skateboarding and the skateboarding fashions. I will focus on the skateboarders themselves and the obstacles they use in their sport.

Being a skateboarder myself is one of the reasons I chose this topic. I am a regular at the local skate park and I’m a friend of many people who are heavily into the sport. I am aware of the incredible sporting ability of some of the skateboarders and the way they are not taken seriously by the public because skateboarding is not a typical sport like football or cricket.
