My name is Michelle (Shelly) Pospeshil. I have been married for fifteen months and we are expecting our first child in a few weeks. I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two labs, Reagan and Jameson. I graduated from Iowa State University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I moved to Houston in January of 1994 and completed my student teaching with the Aldine Independent School District. I have spent all nine of my years in education with Aldine ISD. I currently work at our district Magnet Office as the District Magnet Coordinator. I work with six of our federally funded magnet schools to develop their thematic curriculum. Magnet schools were started in Aldine in 1995 for desegregation purposes. We currently have sixteen schools that students from throughout the district may apply to attend because of their interest in the theme of the school.
