Over the last few years the number of illegal street races has skyrocketed. There are many reasons why but I say it was the release of a certain movie; The Fast and The Furious. Taking regular import cars and turning them into blazing fast street racers was the main topic in this movie. Many people believe that it is dangerous and should be illegal, as do the police. But why, it is a form of entertainment for some and a source of adrenaline for others. Should racing should not be illegal because, besides the negative effects, there are also positive effects.
The people that believe it should be illegal have many reasons to say so, because of all the negative effects of street racing. One negative effect, of course, is the possibility of the people racing may cause an accident.
