Storm Warnings

The poem “Storm Warnings”, by Adrienne Rich, contrasts both the literal and metaphoric meaning of a brewing storm. On a literal connotation a storm is merely a storm, though in a metaphoric sense a storm can be a representation of danger or trouble.
