Stalin vs. Mussolini

So many people supported Stalin and Mussolini even with their totalitarian methods because of the extreme poverty in both countries. Both Russia and Italy were destroyed economically and emotionally by the events of World War I. The citizens of each nation looked for a way out of poverty. Stalin and Mussolini provided a way out, and the classes didn’t care how they did it.
