St. Francis

When we look at the life of St. Francis we look at the way he shaped religious life for those her were not catholic. The way he lived his life would come to have an impact of non-catholic religious experience. St. Francis of Assisi had a profound effect upon Christianity. His ministry while upon this earth was one of love and compassion. He introduced people to a new way of understanding, a deeper meaning of the word compassion, and extended this compassion not only to his fellow man but also to all creatures upon the earth.
St. Francis took compassion to a deeper level than most others of his kind; for this reason he was an even greater influence on Christianity than were his brothers. St. Francis taught that all of god's creations are worthy of respect and love, and that none should be destroyed. If one were to destroy a creation they would be destroying something made by the hands of the Lord. He had humility and taught this to as many people as he could reach. Not everyone ...
