INTRODUCTION
Today, databases are the lifeblood of many businesses. They provide the opportunity to request, save, store, and manipulate data of many forms. Without them, many businesses would cease to exist.
Where technology has created the database, the Internet has helped define and exploit the Internet. It is for this reason, that databases have the major impact that they currently have. Companies are formed based on their creation of databases, and others loose ground because of their inability to effectively use them. In years past, the words Oracle and SQL may have meant nothing to the average consumer – now they are staples of an age where information, and most specifically the ability to disseminate it, is king.
If the database is the king of information technology, then Access would be the Queen.
