STATEMENT OF FACTS


After continued surveillance of Johnny Rotten’s house Federal DEA agents, supported by

local police, obtained a warrant allowing officers to search Rotten’s home. On March 3, 2002

agents gathered at the house and waited. At Approximately 9:15 Jimmy Jazz, Johnny Rotten’s

cousin, entered the house. While Jazz and Rotten were inside merely watching a film, And


Justice For All, agents attempted to look in the window, and were noticed by Jazz. Alarmed by

what he saw, he alerted Rotten. Agents then crashed through the door, using a battering ram.

They seized Johnny and Jimmy and shoved them into handcuffs. As they ransacked the house,

they found a substance in plastic bags. Jimmy was released hours later, he had committed no

crime. Johnny was charged with distribution of a controlled substance and faces a sentence

between 20 and 50 years.
