Spanish Conquest of the Aztecs

After studying the Spanish/Aztecan conflict, I gained some useful insight that I had not had before. It became somehow more personal, like I could relate to the players in the conflict more. The struggle for me is more about people than before, when it was before just about two different nations.
I related with both Moctezuma and Cortéz. I liked Moctezuma because he did what he thought was right for his people no matter what the cost was to himself.
