Society and social life in the United States was different during the Jacksonian Era then it had in previous years. The United States was viewed from many perspectives, and the people underwent many changes. Firstly, the economy boomed around 1816 and population increased in the western country. More houses were built and new navigation system that would bring goods to the western front was proposed. The Indiana territory was now offered for sale, which provided more land for people to expand they’re farms to.
