No two people exactly alike, everyone is different, but there are a few very distinct characteristics that aren’t hard to see. For one, a person’s race. Race refers to groups of people who are categorized based on physical characteristics such as skin color, hair or shape of eyes. In a perfect world none of these things would matter, everyone would be treated equal no matter what they look like. But, we all know this isn’t a perfect world. Therefore a person’s race is very significant. Social Race is significant for two main reasons; race is the cause of racism and it can also identify who a person is and sometimes where they came from.
