Social Issues

Conservativism is a set of beliefs that include a limited role for the national government in helping individuals, support for traditional values and lifestyles, and a cautious response to change. Liberalism is a set of beliefs that includes the advocacy of positive government action to improve the welfare of individuals, support for civil rights, and tolerance for political and social change. I am liberal on some issues, conservative on other issues, and there are several issues that I remain neutral about.
Abortion rights is one issue that I am completely conservative on. Except for those few extreme situations, like if the mother and the unborn child are both at risk if the pregnancy continues, I think abortion should not be an option. When an abortion takes place, an innocent baby is killed, and that is murder. Murder is illegal, so abortion should be, too.
