So much is new and complex today that looking back for an understanding of the past provides little guidance for living in the present

We are living in a fast-rapid society, admittedly everything seems so fresh and irrelevant with the one in the past. Flying around the Earth telephoning all over the world, communicating with people globally ,and so forth, are common nowadays which is unreachable in ancient days and maybe unimaginable in our ancestor¡¯s eyes as well, at this level, to claim today is new and complex and the past provide little guidance for current sounds plausible and acceptable. However, elevation never be separate by past and current, it¡¯s a successive process, we also never can keep present superior of all periods. Meanwhile, at any rate, we could draw something useful and instructive in the past that could be helpful in the present. To illustrate this, Can we defy everything we are doing now is of little guidance for the future? ( Imagining, we are supposed to be ancestor of our off springs a few decades later)
