Snowboarding vs. Skiing

It is twenty-five degrees outside, and you cannot feel your nose. You suddenly realize that the best time of your life is while you fly down the black diamond and being blinded by snowflakes. This can be experienced skiing or snow boarding. While these two sports seem very similar, they differ in many ways. They are as different as apples and oranges. The equipment, level of learning, and position on equipment all differ greatly from each other.
Skiers have two skis, boots, and two poles. All of that equipment makes for a big hassle. The boots stick out in awkward ways since they click into the skis. They make for a very uncomfortable walk from the car to the ski slopes. Poles on the ground is a common site while going up the chair lift. Having two long skies and two long poles makes for a huge hassle while traveling around.
