Smoking should be banned in all public places - Expository

Smoking should be banned in all public places. The statistics and scientifical data overwhelmingly point to this conclusion. A smoking ban should be instated for a great many reasons; smoking has many health risks pertaining to it, it can be harmful to the environment, smoking in public can cause attraction to minors, and it has no economic drawbacks.

Scientists and health officials have been arguing the detrimental effects smoking has on your health for many years. 50 deaths a day are recorded in Australia every day; smoking has also been linked to cancer in the pancreas, lung and stomach due to the large number of carcinogens (cancer causing chemicals) and other various substances added to it.
