Slavery in the 21st. Century

This article talks about slave trade in the 21st century. Many people believe that slave trade died in the 1800’s when it became illegal. This type of slave trade differs from the one we used to know. African Americans are no longer forced into ships for the purpose of becoming slaves. Slavery in the present consists of kidnapping young girls and forcing them to work as prostitutes or as farm workers.
