Sky High

Sky high¡± by Hannah Robert, is a nostalgic story about childhood and adulthood. It discusses the joy of childhood and the lost moments of it as an adult.

¡°Sky High¡± is highly evocative and emotive. It promotes the nostalgia of the persona as she remembers joys of childhood and how now as an adult cannot regain the lost moments. Again, time the catalyst makes man age and therefore changes inevitably come. The writer takes the reader from the perspective of the adult back to the perspective of childhood and gives it immediacy by the use of present tense. In the view of childhood the writer uses alliteration, similes, personification, and assonance in a nostalgic way to provoke emotions.
