Sir Gawain and the Green Knight

In the story Sir Gawain and the Green Knight women play a role that can be described as positive forces that motivate knights to do good deeds, or despicable, weak figures that do not do anything compared to the a valiant knight. Through out the story one can come to a conclusion that the women in Sir Gawain and the Green Knight are quit despicable, weak figures that do not do anything compared to the a valiant knight. The two women that show these characteristics are Bertilak's wife and Morgan le Faye.
When Gawain is traveling to find the Green Knight he becomes cold and tiered and just wants to find a place to have mass on Christmas day. He finds a castle in the distance and goes to it. The host happily invites him in and makes...
