Should there be separate schools for males & females?

There should not be separate schools for males and females. There are three main reasons why there should not be separate schools for male and female students. First, the students passing out from mixed schools are much more amenable and readily acceptable to the today’s society than the students passing out from single-sex schools. Second, it is much more economical to construct and manage mixed schools than to construct and manage single-sex schools. Third, quality and amount of subject knowledge of students passing out from a single-sex schools are less than the quality and amount of knowledge of students passing out from mixed schools, due to lack of overall competition among students in single-sex schools. For the reasons stated above, there should not be separate schools for males and females.
