Should alcohol be sold on campus?

Many people believe that the University as a part of our community should be allowed to sell alcohol on campus. In their opinion it might be a good way to earn money to improve the standard of the University. However, many students are under the legal drinking age of 21. Moreover alcohol destroys the brain and has dangerous effects on student’s behaviour.

It is often argued that students who start studying at university after graduating from High School should be old enough to control themselves and to bear some responsibilities. Furthermore, it might even be safer to drink on campus because most of the students stay in the apartments around the campus. Therefore their way home would be shorter and they would not drink and drive.
