Sharpe's Triumph

The Armies involved in this story are the British army, the Indian army and the British East India company,. These forces have distinct differences in there characteristics of leadership. Their reward, discipline, and training are uniquely different and their differences bring out the true faces of these forces, and the dominantly force prevails.

The British forces command is measured by the amount of money you have. “…all the while I watched wealthy young fools buying themselves majorities in the Kings ranks…”(Ambrose 122). The members of the British company paid their way into their ranks of the army. You are rewarded for your wealth the more money you have to spend the better position of rank that you can obtain.
