SHARK (Introduction)

SHARK is a meat-eating fish and one of the most feared sea animals. Scientists classify about 370 species of fish as sharks. These fish live in oceans throughout the world but are most common in warm seas.

Sharks vary greatly in size and habits. Whale sharks, the largest kind of shark--and the largest of all fish, may grow up to 40 feet (12 meters) long.
