Shah Sahib was born in the beginning of the twelfth century of the Islamic Calendar and at the end of the seventeenth century of Christian calendar. In order to fully comprehend the atmosphere and the conditions prevailing in the country at that time. It is imperative that the reader must get an awareness about the conditions in Sindh and it’s neighboring regions two centuries before this period, so that one may fully the background which influenced Shah Latif’s philosophy of life.
