Seven Stages of Grieving, Gary's House

Theatre has the power to adjust the minds of an audience and to change the way they feel, act and think. It is not the piece of writing alone that does this, but the way it is performed and the techniques used.
Because Australia is a much more complex society today, there is a larger and more diverse range of theatre exploring different concepts and ideas. “Gary’s House” (by Debra Oswald) and “The Seven Stages of Grieving” (by Wesley Enoch and Debra Mailman) use two completely different styles of performance to express their opinions and ideas, though they are both obviously realistic to a certain extent...
