September 11, 2001

Two years ago on September 11, 2001 my life changed. My thoughts of war and my feeling of security were in a whole new perspective. Who would have thought, planes would crash into the largest buildings in New York, the Twin Towers. Or a plane would crash into the pentagon in Washington, D.C. The world we know is totally different; security, economy, and trust with other country’s have totally changed.
I can remember September 11, 2001 like it was yesterday. I was in Mrs.Moore’s, American History class in school as a Junior in high school. All of a sudden someone told her turn on the tv and news flashes were scrolling across the screen. Every channel was showing the planes going into the buildings. At the time it seemed not true, all I could think was it was not real. As the day went on, we watched closely, as we saw New Yorker’s reactions and more information on the stories, as well as the pentagon getting hit and the plane that was hijacked.
