Secuity Forces in America

My research topic is the military career, Security Police. Next February, I plan to join the Air Force as a SP and this is a good way to get more information on that career. This career is related to America because SPs serve America. As a future career of mine, Security Police in the Air Force serve America in many ways.

The first step to having a career in Security Forces is to join the Air Force and go to basic training. First you talk to a recruiter. You will need to take the ASVAB tests to see what careers you are eligible for due to your scores. Next, you go to MEPS to test for general physical ability. A lot of contracts will have to be signed and you are given dates for basic training and tech school.

Basic training is a six-week “summer camp” in San Antonio, TX at Lackland AFB. BMT mentally and physically trains you in many areas. You will participate in marching, conditioning classes, pt, and obstacle courses. It is designed to prepare for when national ...
