There are a lot of morals and themes taught in both, “A Time To Kill” and To Kill A Mockingbird. One of the many themes that are evident after reading the novel and watching the movie is “do not judge a book by its cover.” Secondly as the novel and movie progressed in time, the theme of “never give up hope” became evident. Also as our mother’s had once mentioned to all of us at a certain point in our lives and it is one of the most important themes expressed in both the novel and the movie is “what goes around comes around.” Therefore the themes conveyed in the movie are similar to those of Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird.
