I have never seen the movie Scarface before I started this project, so I really didn’t know what to expect from it. I knew it was a gangster movie, but had no idea how in depth the movie would be. There are many things about this movie that people probably don’t notice when they watch it for the first time. The way the camera is set, the music and costumes, and also props and characters. These qualities make this movie what it has become today.
Tony Montana, played by Al Pacino, was forced to go to the United States by Fidel Castro with his partner Manny Ray, played by Steven Bauer, and 125,000 other Cubans. Tony and Manny meet a man named Frank Lopez, who is one of the largest drug dealers in Miami, and start working for him after they kill four Columbians for $5000 and a bunch of cocaine.
