In the science fiction novel Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, by Douglas Adams, real life conditions are satirized like humans negative out look on life, the drive to build bigger and better things and humans bureaucracy. Supplementary materiel also satirizes the conditions of humans.

In Adams novel Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, he illustrates humans as being depressed in life. He satirizes, how they often expect the worst and are depressed.
