Don’t Be Afraid to Get Involved
Have you ever been a witness? Maybe you’ve seen something occur but didn’t want to get involved. There are several reasons why people wouldn’t want to “tell”. Perhaps it could be because they think what they see could be a false act. For example, a joke. Or maybe, they wouldn’t want to say anything because they think it wouldn’t make a difference in the outcome. Also, they just don’t want to get involved. They may think that if they say something, it would backfire on them and they’ll be in trouble. Two stories from the book Patterns explains to us different ways to express bravery and your strength, also why it is important that if you are a witness to something you should tell someone, because it might make a difference.
