(Specific Purpose) To inform the audience about the 1994 genocide in Rwanda.
(Central Idea) The Rwandan genocide was an atrocity caused by outside influences and radicals.
I. Introduction
A. (Attention Getter) One million people killed during one hundred days. Men wielding machete rushing houses, buildings, even churches killing everyone inside. Men, women and children died at the hands of their country men all because of their label of being a Tutsi. This was the scene during three months in 1994 when Rwanda was turned into a killing ground.
