Rubber and its importance.

Rubber is said to be the native of Brazil, in South-America. It is said that some of the sailors who went with Colombus in his voyage of discovery found children playing with a kind of ball that could bounce. In 1736, a Frenchman discovered that it came from tree. He was hence the pioneer of the rubber plantation.
Rubber trees were planted in Malaysia only in recently. Rubber is called the "Green-gold" of Malaysia because the product earns millions of dollars annually for the country.
