Wes Anderson and "The Royal Tenenbaums"

It takes a lot for a movie to be successful in the film industry. From cast and crew all the way up to the main color seen through out the movie, it takes long periods of planning. Light colors can give off a warm feeling and cool colors can give sort of an uncomfortable or eerie feeling to the movie. Music choice also has a big impact on the movie. It takes a lot of listening to figure which one is best for each scene. A good example of a film that follows all these guidelines is “The Royal Tenenbaums.” It is a brilliant film. From emotions and humor to satire and irony.

The setting of the movie takes place in New York City. Wes Anderson, the director, wanted to make it seem like it takes place in sort of a fable town.
